Here is a nice bank bonus from Chase Bank. Thanks to BankVibe reader Brent for sending this one in!
Chase Bank is offering it’s customers (and potential customers) a win, win scenario. As of this month if you set up automatic bill payments they will drop $20 into your account. Most banks and credit unions are trying to push/coerce their members and customers into “going green” by eliminating the paper involved with monthly bank statements.
Setting up online bill pay allows you to not only cut out needless paper waste, but also helps you keep track of your statement and ensures timely bill pay.
Here is what you need to do:
- Enroll your Chase or Wamu debit card into this promotion.
- Contact your qualifying service providers (Telephone, Cable/Satellite TV, Insurance and Utilities) to sign up for automatic bill payments with your Chase Debit Card by September 30, 2009.
- Get up to $20 deposited into your Chase account.
Terms and Conditions:
This is an exclusive offer and is by invitation only. You must enroll your Chase or WaMu Debit Card by September 30, 2009 in order to qualify for this promotion. After enrolling your debit card you will earn $10 (up to $20) for each new automatic bill payment that is set up in the following service provider categories: Phone, Cable/Satellite TV, Insurance and Utilities. Utility categories include electric, water/sewage, trash service and gas. Automatic bill payments of $25 or more each must be deducted from your checking account by October 31, 2009. Only one cash award per customer. All automatic bill payments must be set up with the same enrolled Chase or WaMu Debit Card to be eligible for this promotion.
Your cash award will be automatically deposited into your checking account linked to your enrolled debit card no later than November 30, 2009. Your checking account must be open and in good standing at time of fulfillment.
Chase doesn’t charge a fee for the convenience of bill payment and most service providers offer this option free as well. Contact your service providers directly to determine if they charge a fee.
