We were just tipped off on a very substantial checking account bonus which is being offered by National City (apparently a part of PNC Bank) through November 28th. For the next two weeks (roughly) anyone opening a new National City personal checking account may be eligible to receive a bonus of up to $300 cash. To begin, you’ll first need to find a National City branch near you because this deal is only offered at their branches. We found a St. Louis news site promoting this product, so needless to say if you live in St. Louis, you’ll likely be eligible. Here are the details for obtaining the bonus:
- Get your first $100:
Establish a monthly direct deposit of at least $400 and having 10 check card purchases in the first 60 days of the account. - Get your second $100:
In addition to maintaining your direct deposit, complete an additional 25 check card purchases by 3/31/2010. - Get your third $100:
Maintain your monthly direct deposit and complete an additional 25 Check Card purchases by 5/31/2010.
