Lowest Mortgage Rates from Arizona Credit Unions

June 6, 2011 No Comments »

We’ve tracked down the lowest mortgage rates offered through Arizona based credit unions this week and found that, in some instances, you can lock in better interest rates and APR’s from local (geographically exclusive) credit unions than with banks.

Currently, the average mortgage rates in Arizona are almost identical to those of the greater US. The APR’s we’ve highlighted below are those that are beating the national average by the highest margin(s). Like we’ve mentioned many times before on BankVibe.com, in many cases, you can lock in slightly better rates with credit unions because unlike banks they are not-for-profit, member-owned institutions which pass their profits along to their members in the form of higher savings rates and lower loan rates.

Although we’ve highlighted only the most popular mortgage products (30 year fixed, 15 year fixed, and 5/1 ARM) the Arizona based credit unions listed above also offer a wide range of mortgage and home loan packages in which we have not mentioned that come with varying terms, conditions and interest rates.

If you’ve recently refinanced your mortgage or have been approved of a home loan from a Arizona based credit union which offered a lower interest rate than what we’ve mentioned above, please share by leaving a comment!
