Update: See 2012 Citi CD Rates.

CitiBank’s CD rates haven’t budged much over the last couple of years. Back in 2008 before the bank collapse, Citibank along with the other major banking institutions, were regularly offering short term deposit rates that would put today’s longest term rates to shame. However once CD rates began to decline across the country, Citibank’s rates free fell to the record lows in which they still hover at today.

Citibank has decent CD rates, but I would go towards the smaller banks who have eager for clients.
