Chase renews their $125 checking account bonus!

Chase is extending their free $125 bonus for setting up a new checking account until April 15, 2009! Unlike some bank deals in the past, there are no geographical restrictions here, this deal is available nationwide!

To sign up you must first open a Chase checking account and fund it via direct deposit with at least $100. Use the coupon code: 3396669001642794 and you will receive your free $125 within 10 days of completing the direct deposit.

You may also apply at any local Chase branch. To do so, you must print this page and bring it in along with all the necessary items to open a checking account.

Terms and Conditions (as seen on their website)

To qualify for the reward you must open a new Chase Checking account with a $100 minimum opening deposit of new money (money not currently held by Chase or its affiliates). Also, within 60 calendar days of account opening, you must initiate a monthly direct deposit such as payroll, pension or Social Security, or other government benefits. The reward will be deposited into your new account within 10 days after the initial direct deposit has posted to your account. Limit one personal checking account-related reward/premium per customer, per calendar year. Offer not available on account conversions or in combination with any other offer. Reward is not considered part of the minimum opening balance. Checking account must remain open for a minimum of six months or the reward will be debited from the account at closing.     That’s a pretty decent deal out there in bank bonuses arena. Chase is always coming up with bonuses, which is good for new holders to get some extra cash..

    Yea, Chase is pretty good with these bonuses. Why not open it, all you need is 100 bucks then they give you more than that. Bank of America has some pretty sweet bonus offers too.

    I wonder why these big banks are notorious for cash bank bonuses but then get killed by smaller local banks and credit unions when it comes to savings rates…

    I did this offer and they take $35 in federal taxes when you recieve your bonus. It’s a good offer but what’s up with taking out a tax for a bonus. Hey Chase I’ll fill out taxes next year. Plus you can’t close account for 90 days or there is a $25 fee
